Ana Violante, MS, CBHT

Ana completed her master’s degree (M.S.) and is currently in the process of completing her doctorate degree (Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. She completed rotations throughout her ongoing graduate school training in Nova Southeastern University’s Anxiety Treatment Center (ATC) and in Broward Health Medical Center (BHMC) Behavioral Health Program. Ana conducted biopsychosocial interviews, cognitive assessments, IQ assessments, and assessments related to anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. She also conducted consultation and short-term interventions for trauma services, pediatrics, behavioral health, emergency medicine, family medicine, oncology, organ transplantation, palliative care, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. She provided individual and group therapy utilizing integrative interventions, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for the treatment of clients with anxiety and comorbid disorders. In addition, Ana is a registered behavioral therapist (RBT) and certified behavioral health technician (CBHT) with over five years of experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis for children and teenagers with Autism.
