NBI Telehealth Services in Weston, FL

CALL (954) 217-1757 TO SCHEDULE OR FILL OUT OUR CONTACT FORM

We are presently increasing our telehealth psychological services due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Many of the patients and

families we serve have expressed concern about how they can receive needed treatments and support during this challenging time.

These services will also be extended to new patients, as appropriate, in order to respond to the needs of adults and children who

are experiencing onset or increases in psychological distress at this time.

Via telehealth, NBI conducts Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Informed Skills Training, Executive

Functioning Training and Nutritional Guidance. Groups as well as family and parenting programs are also available. For patients needing

extra support at this challenging time, we often use many of the above interventions with the possibility of multiple sessions daily if necessary.

Our clinical staff is also able to provide support to families dealing with on-line education challenges that children with ADHD, ASD, OCD and

related conditions often experience.

What is Telehealth?

Providing health services through the use of technology such as videoconferencing is known as telehealth. In many cases, telehealth may

be applicable to psychotherapeutic services, including individual, parent and family therapy.

How Does it All Work?

It’s easy. Just call, email, or fill out our contact form here. Our helpful office staff is available to provide you with all the information you need

to use teleconferencing effectively, as well as to answer all of your questions.

Who is Telehealth for?

Telehealth is used in the care of patients who cannot access office-based care for a variety of reasons including distance, injury, illness or public

healthcare emergencies. It also may be utilized to support continuity or augmentation of ongoing therapy. The level of telehealth care services

necessary is determined on a case-by-case basis and can vary from periodic check-ins to more intensive work.

Is Telehealth confidential?

The teleconference platforms used by NBI are HIPPA compliant so that your privacy and security are protected, unless otherwise authorized

- because the COVID- 19 pandemic may overwhelm certain online platforms at times, patients may be given the option to consent to the

utilization of alternatives such as Face Time or Skype.

Is Telehealth covered by insurance?

It is your responsibility to speak with your insurance provider about whether you will be reimbursed for teletherapy costs, and at what level, as

with any other services provided by NBI. Our office is happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company

upon your request. We strongly encourage you to fully determine your coverage prior to receiving any teletherapy services so that you are fully

informed regarding potential out-of-pocket costs.

Does NBI offer any other services related to COVID-19?

NBI is planning various workshops and other services to help individuals, parents and families manage stress and promote well-being during

the pandemic.
