NBI Telehealth Services

CALL (954) 217-1757 TO SCHEDULE OR FILL OUT OUR CONTACT FORM

NBI is able to offer consultation and treatment by telehealth, as appropriate. Certain assessments may even be possible to conduct via telehealth as well. Some people live in areas where specialized services such as those provided by NBI are difficult to access. The level of telehealth care services

necessary is determined on a case-by-case basis and can vary from periodic check-ins to more intensive work.

Reasons for conducting psychological services by telehealth include:

  • Follow-up for patients or family members who were in one of our intensive programs or received other services from NBI.

  • Supporting continuity or augmentation of existing care.

  • Second opinion consultations.

  • Clinical reasons exist for utilizing telehealth, for example, addressing symptoms in the home environment which do not require a clinician’s physical presence.

  • Issues related to logistics or other obstacles to in-person treatment, such as injury or public healthcare emergencies.

  • Patient preference.

Many NBI clinicians have received Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology through PSYPACT in participating States. NBI reserves the right to assess when telehealth is appropriate or if it should be discontinued.
