Stephanie Munio, Psy.D.

Dr. Stephanie Munio is a Post-Doctoral Resident at NBI who received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Florida International University (FIU). She earned her master’s degree (M.A.) and Doctorate degree (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA, followed by completing a doctoral internship at FIU College Counseling Center.

 

Dr. Munio has received extensive training in conducting cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), including exposure-based treatment, for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Munio is especially passionate about working with teens and young adults with marginalized identities. She is experienced in treating individuals with anxiety, perfectionism, OCD, panic disorder, trauma, identity development concerns, body image concerns, and disordered eating behaviors.

 

Dr. Munio utilizes a collaborative, strengths-based approach and uses humor to engage patients. In addition, she practices utilizing value-based activities and creatively modifies treatments to best fit individuals’ goals and needs.
