Denise Hardt, BCBA, CMHP, Ph.D. (Brazil)

Denise Hardt is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Certified Mental Health Professional (CMHP). As a CMHP, she works under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist at NBI. After relocating to the United States in 2012, Dr. Hardt has worked at the Neurobehavioral Institute (NBI) since 2016. She is a licensed Psychologist in her native country, Brazil, earning her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Sao Paulo University (Universidade de São Paulo - USP). Dr. Hardt completed her specialization in Hospital and Health Psychology at Santa Casa de São Paulo; while there, she was the coordinator of the psychology division for the Oncology Center of Mogi Cruzes, São Paulo.

 

Previously, Dr. Hardt was a professor at São Judas Tadeu University (Universidade São Judas Tadeu), where, for 21 years, she taught various subjects related to Behavioral Therapy. She supervised internships and was a committee member and chair for masters and doctoral dissertations. Dr. Hardt coordinated the Psychology Program at the University of Braz Cubas for ten years.  In total, she has 35 years of experience conducting Behavioral Therapy. Dr. Hardt is glad to help you understand the functions of your behaviors better and develop skills that will allow you to achieve your goals and produce the best results in your life.
