Christopher Varghese, Psy.D.

Christopher Varghese, Psy.D., is a postdoctoral resident at NBI. Dr. Varghese has specialized training in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, trauma, and cultural and diversity-related concerns. He uses a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, incorporating elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Dr. Varghese earned his doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his internship at the University of Memphis. He is completing his postdoctoral residency at NBI. He has additional experience in various treatment settings (college counseling, community mental health, and adult day health centers). In addition to treating patients at NBI in individual and group formats, he is part of the Ranch team.

Dr. Varghese helps you identify what you value and how you can live your life in a way that matches your values rather than your symptoms. Sessions focus on understanding how your symptoms impact daily functioning and developing skills to change the course of your functioning.
