E. Katia Moritz, Ph.D., ABPP is a licensed psychologist in Florida, New York, Utah and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Dr. Moritz is Board Certified in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology and a Fellow of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). Together with Dr. Jonathan Hoffman, she founded the NBI Ranch and the Neurobehavioral Institute (NBI), where she is Chief Clinical Officer. Dr. Moritz is the training director and supervisor of NBIās APICC approved postdoctoral training program.
Dr. Moritz specializes in the treatment of Severe Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Her work focuses on complex and hard to diagnose patients and training and interventions for families. She is on the Scientific & Clinical Advisory Board and the Diversity Council of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF). She is also on the advisory board of HAAPE (Helping Adults with Autism Perform and Excel). Dr. Moritz is the author of āWorking with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in Childrenā (Audio and Video Training Program), āForms for Helping Children with OCDā and āBlink, Blink, Clop, Clop: An OCD Story Bookā ā English and Spanish versions.
