undefinedDr. Michelle Stoyell-Conti, Psy.D. is a trilingual (English/Spanish/Portuguese) licensed psychologist in the state of Florida and Ohio.

Dr. Stoyell-Conti received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She obtained both her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at Wright State University, School of Professional Psychology in Dayton, OH. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Florida International University’s Counseling and Psychological Services in Miami. Subsequently, she completed her post-doctoral residency at Cornell University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, Gannett Health Service in Ithaca, NY.

Dr. Stoyell-Conti specializes in treating individuals, groups and couples. Her clinical experience includes: obsessive compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, self-esteem, substance abuse, relationship issues, adjustment disorder difficulties, immigration concerns, LGBTQA issues, international students, acculturation, career concerns and social justice. She uses evidenced base treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques. Moreover, she conducts intellectual and academic testing to assess for Learning Disabilities and ADHD.

In conceptualizing her clients, Dr. Stoyell-Conti operates from an integrative perspective.

Her experience has strengthened the idea that there is not “one” solution to all individual problems. She realizes that it is of the utmost essence for her to design interventions taking into account all of her clients’ unique variables and background in order to provide them with the best quality care.
