Katia Moritz, Ph.D., ABPP.

E. Katia Moritz, Ph.D., ABPP, is a licensed psychologist in Florida, New York, Utah, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer at Neurobehavioral Institute (NBI), specializing in treating Severe Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is also the Founder of NBI Ranch - a residential supportive living program. With decades of experience, Dr. Moritz trains and supervises clinical staff. She develops cutting-edge programs and services for patients and families and consults on challenging and complex cases worldwide.   

  

Dr. Moritz is a Board-Certified Cognitive and Behavioral Psychologist and a Fellow of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). She is a member of the Scientific & Clinical Advisory Board and the Diversity Council of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF) and serves on the advisory board of HAAPE (Helping Adults with Autism Perform and Excel). 

Dr. Moritz is the author of "Working with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder in Children" (Audio and Video Training Program), "Forms for Helping Children with OCD," and "Blink, Blink, Clop, Clop: An OCD Story Book" (available in English and Spanish versions).  

 

Dr. Moritz is a respected speaker and presents on Severe Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Her focus is on translating evidence-supporting skills to make a life-changing impact in the lives of individuals and families.

 

Additionally, Dr. Moritz is the director and producer of the award-winning documentary "Undiagnosed - The Future of Medicine." The documentary has won multiple awards and has been featured in film festivals worldwide.
